Our issue with Tico Time is that nowhere was there ever any mention whatsoever about ongoing construction or the park not being completely finished. There were semi trucks bringing in supplies during our entire stay which created an extremely dusty atmosphere. The price should have reflected the current state of the park and the website should be updated to give people a heads up on what to expect vs. what the website portrays. When complete, I have no doubt this will be an awesome RV park with a TON of things to do...it's just not what we expected during our stay.
A traditional motorhome with the self-contained features you expect. It is important to be mindful of which dirt roads are passable in your rig and which ones may be more suited for high-clearance 4X4s, such as Jeeps or other ATVs. Lastly, make sure not to stray too far onto these unpaved mountain roads in dark or wet conditions to avoid getting stranded. Located right on the edge of Lake City on Henson Creek, you can’t get much closer to this abandoned Colorado ghost town than this.
Guests can also pay a visit to the neighboring Trimble Spa & Natural Hot Springs, which features two hot springs pools, a sauna, and an Olympic-size outdoor pool.
