Heidi Zak Of Thirdlove

Heidi Zak (left) and Ra'el Cohen, founders of ThirdLove. Continuing her crusade against Razek, Zak further describes Victoria's Secret's ignorance, noting how obviously they market towards men selling a male fantasy to women” and the complete disregard for the reality we live in: the reality where women go to work, breastfeed their children, play sports, care for ailing parents, and serve their country” and aren't limited by archaic ideas of femininity.
Avid Victoria's Secret enthusiasts and critics alike have voiced their disappointment, one of the most angered being ThirdLove co-founder and co-CEO Heidi Zak, who took a full page ad in the New York Times to pen an open letter to the lingerie brand.

Colors that were supposed to be skin tone would show right through white blouses.” After a year of research and data analysis, ThirdLove debuted five new shades in February that Zak calls the New Nakeds, which suit a wider swath of customers and come in all 47 sizes.
Whatever her shape or size, I want every woman to see herself reflected in our brand — and hopefully all brands — and feel welcomed by the retail landscape This is just the beginning, but my hope is that the majority of women will soon be able to find their size — whether petite, tall, big or small — in all shops and online retail destinations.

Heidi Zak previously held a position in Google, and underpinned by this experience in the tech sector, and fuelled by her passion for retail and finding a bra that was a perfect fit—her research revealed that 80 percent of women wear bras that do not fit them correctly—and supported by the financial experience of her co-founder husband David Spector, ThirdLove was born in 2013.
Whether it's a fun, flirty date night top that inspires a fashion brand , a desperate search for an ideal nail salon , or shopping for the perfect wedding dress that launches a custom-designed gown company , female entrepreneurs are taking inspiration for everyday experiences.

They also wanted a superior product that was more comfortable, better fitting and offered more size options than any other lingerie Heidi Zak brand. Victoria's Secret continues to dominate the market, and I don't think they have changed or seem to be changing anytime soon.
